For our non-Spanish speakers friends

We are very happy seeing that day after day our (not yet started) adventure is followed by more readers around the world. In fact, we are living in a non-spanish speaker country and our work mates asked us to write some lines in English to know what we are doing. So, let's go!

On the last two weeks of June, we are going to participate in a charity rally around the Baltic Sea, with a 20-year old Volvo, no GPS and avoiding motorways. Our route starts in Hamburg and the finish line is in Berlin, going across 10 different countries:
  • Germany
  • Denmark
  • Sweden
  • Norway
  • Finland
  • Russia
  • Estonia
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Poland

You can find out more information about the rally, his rules and where the charity founds go in the official webpage:

http://balticrally.superlative-adventure.com/

We are looking also for supporters, meaning that any help or idea will be VERY welcome!

As one of the rules is that the model of the car used should be at least 20 year old, we bought a 1994 Volvo 850 2.5 10v (the model was presented at 1992, and that's why complies with the rule) with 225.000 km over his back. Some early pictures can be seen here

We affectionately called him "Pegasus", in honour to the Spanish make of industrial vehicles and sport cars "Pegaso", disappeared in 1994, after being bought by Iveco in 1990. More information about the brand Pegaso, and the fascinating Pegaso Z-102 can be found here.

My team mate, Fran Castillo and myself, Hector Suarez, we will try to keep this blog updated with our latest progress, also in English. You can use the links in the right side to subscribe to our RSS feed and be informed when we add new content.

Thanks everyone for your support, and feel free to write us in the comments!
